    Rye Bay Scallops

    Foodies will love the great mix of restaurants, bars, cafes and pubs set in a range of venues and with menus to suit all tastes and budgets.  Pubs and cafes with beams and log fires can be found alongside contemporary restaurants, pub gardens with views, takeaways, plus there is exciting  range of independent food shops such as bakers, delis, sweet and chocolate shops.

    Known for its local scallops, Rye runs a Scallop Festival each year in February and Wild Boar week, a celebration of game runs in October.

    And drinks don’t disappoint either:  cask beers, ciders, local wines, artisan hot chocolate are just a few treats on offer.
