Fairlight Village Hall hosts an Apple Day on October 6, from 10am to 4pm when local producers can bring their apples for juicing to the village hall and enjoy other local produce and fun activities for adults and children.

Apple day is your chance to have all your apples pressed and bottled into the finest freshly pressed juice. Don’t worry if you don’t have any apples; we’ll have plenty spare and you can still buy the fresh juice straight from the press – nothing tastes quite so good!
All apples (and pears) are welcome. We will mix together everyone’s varieties for a nice blend. Meanwhile, check out the little stall area for local products and activities, and grab some coffee and cake.

If you’d like to hold a stall, get in touch. Cost? A standard 75cl bottle of fresh juice will cost £2, provided that you bring apples along to contribute to the press. For every bottle of your own that you bring, you will save 80p! Pasteurisation costs 50p per bottle. If you don’t have any apples to bring, you can buy our Stonelynk Apple Juice for £3 a bottle.

The event is being organised by Stonelynk Organics, a commercial organic vegetable garden in Stonelynk Valley, Fairlight, five miles east of Hastings, East Sussex. For further information contact stonelynkorganics@gmail.com tel: 07983 224110
