The New Road artists in the Rye Creative Centre (RCC) are holding their annual Open Studios this weekend on Friday September 21, 5-8pm and Saturday September 22, 11am-4pm.
RCC is on the marsh side of the river Rother on the A259 heading towards Dover in the former Freda Gardham School.
There is usually a huge range of work available directly from the artists and makers who include painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers, designers, architects, and textile artists.
On Friday there will be a donations bar and a cafe on Saturday and the gallery will exhibit the work of studio holders. For more information visit ryecreativecentre.co.uk.
The RCC entrance is between Numbers 7 and 9 in New Road and classes there include yoga (Monday mornings), clay portrait modelling(Tuesdays), painting (Wednesday afternoon) and life drawing (Wednesday evening) and printmaking (Thursdays).
