Two new exhibitions commence at Rye Art Gallery on Saturday April 6, both running to May 5.
Gallery 5 displays the Rye Society of Artists (RSA) Spring Show entitled “Light to Shade-Shade to Light”, whilst Gallery 3 features recent works by Richard Adams, entitled “Rye on the Wall”.
The RSA was established in 1951 and currently includes around 40 members all working within a 15 mile radius of Rye.
In the RSA exhibition, the subject of light and dark interplay are explored.
Step into the light or retreat into the darkness, wherever your mood takes you. The art works include photography, sculpture, ceramics, prints and paintings.
