Supporters of the service were also acknowledged on the side of the vehicle: Rye Town Council, Icklesham Parish Council, Rye and District Hospital, Rye Community Shop and East Sussex County Council.
The bus had been purchased second hand, with 50,000 miles on the clock for about £8,000. Configured for ease of use, It incorporates a rear tail-lift to help those with mobility problems.
