What better than a hot romantic comedy – Cuban Fury – to warm up your January, writes Neale East? The movie, the first Rye Film Club feature of 2015, is written by and stars Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) who plays Bruce, a man whose dreams of salsa stardom were dashed at an early age. Now, 22 years later he finds himself out of shape and unloved. Only Julia (Rachida Jones), his gorgeous new boss gives him reason to live but she’s out of his league. With the help of his sister, Sam (Olivia Coleman) he starts to unleash the passionate dancer locked away inside himself . . . and could it, just possibly, win him the fair Julia?
