Rye Cricket Club completed the third of its free taster sessions on Thursday, January 30 with 23 young people having taken advantage of the opportunity. Hopefully all of them will now join the winter coaching programme starting on Thursday, February 20.
The details are:
Thursdays beginning February 20 at Rye Sports Centre:
5pm – 6pm primary age / starters: softball cricket
6pm – 7pm under 11 / under 13 team players: hardball cricket
7pm – 8pm under 15 / under 18 team players: hardball cricket
The cost for the 10 week course is £30 for softball / £50 for hardball. Thanks to the generous support of the Ted Baker Trust, the Rye Fund and Active Rother we were able to offer the three free taster sessions and can offer help to those for whom the cost might be a barrier to participation.
