I applaud the appointment of a town steward by Rye. But your photograph [see how Rye News reported it, above] horrified me. Parking the steward’s 4×4 on a grass verge is not setting much of an example. Such behaviour is going to create grot-spots rather than tackle them. And stay off the pavements too!
