Walking along the High Street you can’t fail to miss the signs in virtually every shop window, ‘Wear a mask before entering’, ‘Keep your social distance’, ‘No mask, no sale’, ‘Please use the hand sanitiser provided’, ‘Only one visitor at a time please’ etc etc
Many shops are also displaying their revised opening times and ‘eateries’ are displaying the ‘Eat out to Help out’ stickers and posters, but there are also quite a few very subtle messages if you look carefully enough.
One caught my eye in the window of Herald and Heart at 102 High Street, Rye (see top photo) advertising for a member of staff, the pre-requisite being that the ability to Fandango may have to be demonstrated to be considered for the vacancy!
So nice to see something a little light hearted and tongue in cheek in among all the Covid-19 related signage and if you fancy applying, as the poster says, drop your CV in to the shop or send an email to emma@heraldandheart.com.
Good luck and in the interim, as they say on Strictly Come Dancing, “Keeeeeeep Dancing”!
