Little Gate Farm in Beckley, a care farm and registered charity for learning disabled adults and children, celebrates its first birthday on Saturday March 28. It was set up by Claire and David Cordell, who felt strongly that there was not enough provision for this vulnerable group of people. They will celebrate the year since they opened their doors to their very first Learning Disabled Rangers, with an Easter Fun Day, complete with Easter bunny trail, den building, kids crafts, tea and cake and of course their new born lambs and fluffy chicks. The farm is open to the public from 10am till 4pm. Everyone welcome! In the picture above, Heidi Haddow, one of the trustees of the farm feeds a lamb.
