In line with other National Trust properties, Lamb House, the Grade ll* listed 18th-century house in Rye, has updated its visitor information.

From July 19, Lamb House is open Friday to Tuesday every week and no longer has a booking system in place. The tea room, however, remains closed. Following government guidelines, social distancing measures have been lifted but the safety of visitors, volunteers and staff remain a top priority. Hand sanitisers will continue to be provided and the wearing of face coverings is recommended in enclosed or crowded locations.

Lamb House is run as a writers museum and has been the home of many writers including Henry James from 1897 to 1914, and later EF Benson.
