East Sussex Libraries is running a new project called IT for You.  They are offering people aged 18 and over free one-to-one computer mentoring and support in their local library – and that the service is now available at Rye library every Saturday afternoon.

IT for You in brief:

  • Learn how to use a computer or improve and refresh your skills.
  • Free one-hour sessions with friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.
  • Help with email, staying safe online, downloading and using the NHS app.
  • Job searches and applications, CVs, Microsoft Word and more.
  • You choose the skills you learn.
  • No tests, no exams!
  • Come to as many or as few sessions as you need.

They use specially adapted dual control desktop computers and hygiene screens – so the sessions are contactless!

To attend a session, book your place by calling 01323 463759. To ensure service standards IT for You is not available as a drop in service. See IT For You | East Sussex Libraries.
