It’s all happening at Rye Watersports at Northpoint Water in Camber, as their long awaited new office has finally arrived. South-westerly winds are a godsend when it comes to water sports, but on a stunning windless day in mid-January, for once the team were very grateful for calm as the new building had to be lowered into position by crane and wind was the very last thing they needed.
Now that the building has been safely installed into its new surroundings it will not only have stunning views of Rye but more importantly it has superb visibility of the lake for safety cover.
The old office has now been renovated, converted into a classroom for groups and schools as well as much needed storage space for all those bags when students come down for lessons and kids’ camps.
