This Easter Saturday, cricket returns to the Rye Cricket Salts.
All the hard work of the winter has been completed, with the refurbishment of the pavilion, internally and externally, new sightscreens, and roll-on covers. An additional mobile net is due this week.
Rye 1st Xl host Cowdray for a 1pm start. Rye will be welcoming to the ranks Zimbabwean test player Carl Mumba, as the team prepare for the 2022 Season. Carl touches down on Friday from Harare, so he will welcome the early opportunity to adjust to English conditions.
