The Music Well, a Rye-based community interest company, is holding its annual garden party on Saturday, July 23 at Little Orchard House, 3 West Street.
From 11am to 4pm, this lovely walled garden in the heart of Rye will echo to the sounds of chatter and what the Music Well does best… music!
All are welcome to come along, with a £3 entrance fee, since this is a fundraiser for The Music Well, which delivers musical therapy to adults and children in Rye and the surrounding area. They provide a friendly singing group to which all are welcome and meet weekly in the Rye Scout Hut by the Rye Leisure Centre.
The garden party will be saying goodbye to much-loved Louise Fletcher, who is moving on having led the singing group for around eight years. A warm welcome is extended to Alison Harrison as her successor!
There will be tea and coffee as well as soup and cakes, all for a small additional fee.
