July was yet another busy, interesting month for the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. Many wader species were seen and they were joined by passage migrant birds heading to their northern breeding grounds.
The significant highlight was a striped hawk-moth seen on July 28, which was the second on record for the reserve.
What better way to enjoy the experience, if you didn’t made it to the reserve last month, than through the wonderful photographs taken daily by the Sussex Wildlife Trust photographers.
A picture tells a thousand stories.
