Rye Heritage Centre (RHC) is planning further promotions to tell the story of Rye and is actively seeking a new volunteer to help implement these ideas.
A series of events is planned to help visitors understand the history of Rye and its people. It will include talks on various topics, social evenings to encourage greater involvement with the local community, and research to find new ideas for future topics that could be developed.
The centre is looking for someone who has previous experience in organising such events, or a person with good organisational skills who would like the opportunity to help develop this part of the RHC’s future.
This new volunteer will work closely with Simon Parsons, the centre manager, helping to plan, develop and organise events that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the aims of the centre.
