Rye Kino presents Will and Testament 93 mins [12A] on Friday May 15 at 8.30pm plus a Q&A after the film with composer of the film score Michel Duvoisin.

Samba 119 mins [15] Subtitled From the directors of Untouchable and starring Omar Sy. Samba is from Senegal, and for the last 10 years he has worked at various lowly jobs in a bid to avoid the authorities When he seeks a charity’s help to get the working papers that will allow him to stay in France, he meets Alice. Both struggling to improve their lives, fate draws them together. Samba and Alice’s story is a touching, topical look at issues – both personal and within our society – with a lightness and soul to melt even the hardest of hearts. Also starring Charlotte Gainsbourg and Tahar Rahim.
Lambert and Stamp 117 mins [15] The remarkable story of Chris Stamp and Kit Lambert, aspiring filmmakers from opposite sides of the tracks, who discovered, mentored and managed the iconic band that would become known as The Who. Featuring Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, director James D. Cooper takes us along on the surprising ride of two men who shaped one of the most exciting bands of all time, in a film charged with a mad concoction of noise, love, rebellion, artistry and hilarity.

Paddington 85 mins [U] Adapted from Michael Bond’s beloved books, the film follows the comic misadventures of a polite young bear with an endearing talent for chaos. Arriving alone in England from Peru, Paddington soon finds that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family, who find him with a label tied around his neck which reads “Please look after this bear. Thank you”. Starring Jim Broadbent, Julie Walters, Sally Hawkins, Hugh Bonneville, Peter Capaldi, Nicole Kidman, with the voice of Ben Whishaw as Paddington.
