I had the pleasure of meeting Peter Harris today, who is in the process of setting up his new business, Olympus Financial Planning at 58 Cinque Ports Street, formally the Red Door Gallery.
Peter is a qualified independent financial advisor, known already to many locally as he was born in Pett, now living in Peasmarsh and has lived locally all his life. His late father was the former publican of the renowned Queens Head Inn at Icklesham. His in-laws have had their own shop on the high street, a Pocket Full of Rye, for many years.
Peter will soon be joined by specialist mortgage advisor Kyle Parker, who comes from a legal and banking background.
Peter has been keen to establish himself in the town, and his new offices are ideally located in the town centre. The new facia being prepared by Care Signs in Rye Harbour is ready to put up and should be in place by the time this article is published.
You may recognise Peter through sporting circles, especially in relation to cricket. Having previously represented Rye cricket club, Hastings Priory and currently playing for local side, Iden.
