Rye crib league is played on Tuesday evenings in pubs and clubs in and around Rye.

This season the league has two new teams, the New Inn, Winchelsea, and Pipemakers Arms, Rye.

Before Christmas, some matches had to be postponed due to the football world cup being on TV, icy roads, and illness but it is back in full swing now that we’ve entered the new year.

Rye crib ‘A’ league stands with three teams at the top of the table on 13 points each. They are This Ancient Borough, Tenterden; Tenterden Club A; and the Six Bells, Woodchurch.

The ‘B’ league is topped by Rye Harbour Social Club ‘A’, and the second is the Pipemakers Arms, Rye.
