The Music Well fun band

Under the umbrella of The Music Well CIC, our Rye-based music therapy and musical activities service, we are planning to start an informal band to play together once a week for fun and learning.

This will start in September and meet for an hour or two in Rye.

If you play an instrument now, or did in the past – even if you’re rusty – you are welcome to join in. Any age, any ability and any instrument. So, bring along your clarinet or penny whistle, put the strings back on your guitar, dust off your maracas and dig your viola out of the attic. Any age from teenager to 100.

The music will be written as you go along by Nick Ingman (www.nickingman.co.uk) who is an acclaimed conductor, composer and arranger of music. Nick created a commercial music course at the Royal Academy of Music so you will be in safe, experienced hands!

Don’t worry if you cannot read music, Nick will teach you the rudiments and you will soon pick it up!

Interested? Please send your name, where you live and instrument played to nickdaningman@gmail.com, and we’ll take it from there.

The Music Well is looking forward to seeing you, making music and having fun together!
