Celebrating 80 years of trading

This year, family owned independent supermarket group Jempson’s celebrates 80 years of trading at its Peasmarsh site, and as part of their celebrations Jempson’s have a number of events and activities planned. One to note is that local celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager will be hosting a “Meet the Expert” cookery demonstration evening at the Peasmarsh Superstore on Friday June 26. Events will be held at 6:30 and 8pm. Tickets can be booked in advance either in-store or via email –  mail@jempsons.com. Please state which session you would prefer to attend. Tickets are only 80p each!

Another event, is the launch of the exclusively brewed Jempson’s 80th Anniversary premium bitter “Local Hero” which is brewed in Tenterden by the Old Dairy Brewery. Stephen Jempson said: “To be able to mark our 80th Anniversary is a source of great pride to us. It has not always been easy, but from the beginning we have always gone to great lengths to ensure we continue to maintain the highest standards possible. We look forward to welcoming, and being of service to our customers in order to achieve our 100th Anniversary, and would also like to thank them for their on-going and continued support”.
