On Monday July 10, the residents at Peasmarsh Place were entertained by the Music Well’s Children’s Singing Club, who visited them for an hour after school. The children, aged 4- 12 years of age, sang a range of songs with great enthusiasm, and with some harmonies. The residents smiled, clapped and joined in with a few of the songs throughout the show. One gentleman resident got up and danced, a joy to see.
The show started with a vibrant rendition of Doe and Deer with harmony, which thrilled the residents. Other songs included Edelweiss, Somewhere Only We Know, You Raise Me Up, Down In the Jungle, Robin Sings Reggae, Thank You For The Music, finishing with the very beautiful and newly composed Music Well Anthem, called Singing. This is available to enjoy on You Tube: https://youtu.be/Azq1HlAnX6I
The staff and residents were full of joy, and complimented the children on their delightful singing and excellent behaviour. We hope to visit again just before Christmas.
