The cost of living crisis is biting hard and retailers in particular are being hit from all sides. One of the biggest issues for many supermarkets is shoplifting which has increased massively. Jempson’s are not immune to this recent increase and are being regularly targeted by shoplifters. They need your help and have recently launched an appeal on social media as they have had enough.
Jempson’s latest post read: “Today, April 20th, one of these gentlemen walked out with a basket full of goods and when accosted said: ‘If you want the stuff back call the police’-the rest of the conversation cannot be posted as it does not bear repeating.
“What is our country coming to? Surely we are better than this?”
