Friday June 14, 2024 was another wonderful evening run by Tim, or Timberlina as his alter ego. Like before he was bad, mad and hilarious, taking the audience with him as previously. The crowd loved the songs he chose because they knew most of them and either he was incredibly funny singing them or people could follow him, participating in the dancing moves whether it was from Mama Mia or YMCA. At one stage, when the song needed it, phones were waving with their torches on, visually spectacular.
The room was treated to some amazing yoga poses in Timberlina’s short skirt which produced much laughter as it did when Charlie Harkness and Mayor Andy Stuart won the Bingo three times. Many knew the consequences and were looking forward to the performances, dancing with Timberlina. To give them their due, both were good sports and did very well. It was a great evening and such a lovely atmosphere. We will miss Tim if he really abandons Rye altogether, so we can only hope that perhaps in the future Timberlina will come and entertain us for one more show. A visitor from Finland said she really enjoyed it.
Rye will be bereft because, as Tim feels it’s time to find a new audience, he threw into the mix that this was his last show in town.
