Stephen Sondheim’s music and words (reviewed last week) were celebrated in black and white in the theatre space in New Road’s Rye Creative Centre to raise funds for local charity ARRCC, supporting adults with sensory impairments and physical disabilities, writes Irna Mortlock. The show was produced and directed by Sam Williams, who has successfully put on a number of events so far this year, with more to come in the autumn, and the theatre space is also being well used by local groups and colleges. The picture shows Sam Williams and Aimee Carney in an extract from Sweeney Todd. For more information on future events or hiring the space, contact samwilliams@arrcc.org
