Rye Harbour Sailability supports people with disabilities so that they and their supporters can enjoy sailing on the water in a friendly and relaxing environment at Rye Harbour.
As members, volunteers have the opportunity to join in sailing days and social events held through the year. We meet at the sailing club one or twice monthly, a friendly and relaxing setting, often accompanied with lovely weather. There is the opportunity to meet and chat to other volunteers, sailors and their families or carers, sharing coffee, cakes and freshly prepared lunch, followed by a raffle.
We are looking for an administration volunteer to cover the following roles.
Duties of membership secretary for Rye Harbour Sailability
Managing memberships remotely using Microsoft Word, Outlook or equivalent email, Excel or spreadsheet.
Processing applications, renewals and keeping records up to date and file electronically.
Communicating with members, RHS trustees, shoreside and riverside volunteers.
Provide membership updates for quarterly AGM meetings and attend by Zoom.

The 100 club raises money for Rye Harbour Sailability.
Manage and administer the monthly prize draw. (Bingo balls)
Maintain records and registers of the draw using Word.
Process applications and renewals.
