Rye Harbour Sailing Club (RHSC) is holding its fourth annual Auction of Donations to raise funds for premises improvements, on Sunday August 9 at The Clubhouse, The Point, Rye Harbour, TN31 7TU. Come along from 1pm to enjoy a BBQ with a bar, a live band “Ricochet”, followed by the auction, writes Caroline Wylson. This is a great day and always proves to be a lot of fun. All are welcome! A £5 ticket includes a BBQ meal and a chance to win a raffle prize.
Local businesses, restaurants, retailers and club members have donated generously with prizes including a one night stay at The George, a three course meal for two at the Ambrette , cinema tickets for two at the Kino and a pampering package with blow dry voucher at The Rye Retreat to name but a few. If you are into speed, what about an amazing opportunity to bid for a sail on the trapeze of a Catamaran F18 Hobie Tiger? There are some 40 lots to bid for.
