There was a real buzz on Friday evening January 17 at the soft launch of Diamond Koz’s Bistro and Cocktail Bar.
Firat Bozyel, affectionately known locally as ‘Fred,’ masterminded the venture on Wish St in Rye with his family, who were all on hand on the night, and invited all the local businesses and the local councillors to drop by and see what was on offer. The service was impeccable, and the welcome was warm and inviting. Prosecco flowed and the canapés were delicious. At 5pm the ribbon was cut to announce that the Bistro was ready for action and a great cheer went up.
Fred declared: “The opening of Diamond Bistro and Cocktail Bar in Rye was a huge success, with customers loving the food, atmosphere, and live entertainment. This new addition to Rye offers brunch from 9 am, as well as lunch and dinner, making it a great spot for any time of day. The opening weekend featured live music on Friday and Saturday, and going forward, there will be live music and DJs every weekend. Diamond Bistro and Cocktail Bar is already becoming a favourite in town and a fantastic asset to the local community.
“We had in total over a 100 people turn up over the weekend and had very good feedback about the food and also the drinks.”
