Every year local pubs accept delivery of giant Easter eggs to help raise funds. All monies raised from the eggs go to St Michael’s Hospice and Hospice in the Weald. This year a salver was awarded to the pub that raised the most money. The Cock Inn of Peasmarsh was this year’s successful pub. Sue Clay, president 0f Rye Lions, thanked Amanda Bryan and her staff for their hard work. Amanda and Guven Turedi, her business partner, said that they were more than happy to support such good causes.
