Appearing with him as guest artist at this year’s Rye Wurlitzer Academy’s Christmas Concert will be harpist Julie George along with the Brighton Welsh Male Voice Choir.

Rye Wurlitzer Academy was founded late in 2009 by Richard Moore for teaching students at Rye College on the Style-D Wurlitzer, England’s second oldest Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ.

Wooldridge, who lives in Worthing, was recruited the following year as principal tutor, and now teaches regularly at the College.

He loves all kinds of music and is often heard on BBC Radio 2’s popular programme, The Organist Entertains. A very entertaining evening is promised.

The concert is at Rye College in Love Lane at 7:30 pm. Tickets are £9 for adults, and £3 for children, including festive refreshments.
