On Sunday April 24 Tilling Green Community Centre was raining cats and dogs as the Blue Cross provided their free microchipping service, following a recent change in the law. Just over 60 cats and dogs were brought along by their owners to take advantage of the free service.

The smallest visitor of the day was 10 week old chihuahua Blossom who currently weighs just two and a half pounds.

Tilling Green Residents Association committee members were on hand to help the Blue Cross volunteers complete forms, directing people to the chipping room and also serving refreshments.
