Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them  2D and 3D [12A] 133 mins
An all-new adventure returning us to the wizarding world created by JK Rowling. Eddie Redmayne stars as magizoologist Newt Scamander who has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in 1920s New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds. Also starring Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman and Colin Farrell.

Nocturnal Animals [15] 117 mins
From writer/director Tom Ford (A Single Man) comes a haunting romantic thriller of shocking intimacy and gripping tension that explores the thin lines between love and cruelty, revenge and redemption. A successful Los Angeles art-gallery owner’s idyllic life is marred by the constant travelling of her handsome second husband. While he is away, she is shaken by the arrival of a manuscript written by her first husband, whom she has not seen in years. The manuscript tells the story of a teacher who finds a trip with his family turning into a nightmare. As Susan reads the book, it forces her to examine her past and confront some dark truths. Starring Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Laura Linney.

A Street Cat Named Bob [12A] 103 mins
The film adaptation of James Bowen’s much-loved, best-selling book, which tells the moving and life-affirming true story of the unlikely friendship between a young homeless busker, James Bowen, and the stray ginger cat who changed his life. Starring Luke Treadaway with the real-life Bob, Ruta Gedmintas, Joanne Froggatt, Anthony Head and Beth Goddard.

Kino Doc: The First Monday In May [12A] 90 mins
All tickets £10, which includes a regular glass of wine, coffee or soft drink. With unprecedented access, filmmaker Andrew Rossi captures the collision of high fashion and celebrity at the Met Gala, one of the biggest global fashion events chaired every year by Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour. Featuring a cast of renowned artists including Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano and Rihanna, the movie dives into the debate about whether fashion should be viewed as art.

Lovable blue tang fish Dory suffers from memory loss every few seconds. The one thing she can remember is that she became separated from her parents when she was very young. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on a quest to find them. Starring Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks and Ed O’Neill.

A mistaken delivery in Mumbai’s famously efficient lunchbox delivery system connects a young housewife to an older man in the dusk of his life as they build a fantasy world together through notes in the lunchbox. Indian supper followed by the film at 7.30pm. All tickets £15, which includes food and a regular drink from the bar.

Andre Rieu: Christmas with Andre  LIVE: Sunday, November 27 at 3pm
A festive celebration, featuring a never-before-seen Christmas concert packed with all the favourites including Hallelujah, Jingle Bells, White Christmas and many more performed by André and his famous Johann Strauss Orchestra along with his sopranos and tenors. As an exclusive for cinema audiences, André will be inviting his fans to his home town for a live intimate tour of Maastricht’s magical Christmas highlights, as well as participating in a Q&A with CinemaLive host Charlotte Hawkins in which the The King of Waltz will answer questions submitted by cinema audiences.

This year’s festive treat is presented by Darcey Bussell and stars Lauren Cuthbertson, Federico Bonelli, Francesca Hayward and Alexander Campbell.

No Man’s Land  LIVE: Thursday, December 15 at 7pm. Encore, Sunday, December 18 at 8pm
Following their hit run on Broadway, Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart return to the West End stage in Harold Pinter’s comic classic No Man’s Land, broadcast live to cinemas from Wyndham’s Theatre, London. One summer’s evening, two ageing writers, Hirst and Spooner, meet in a Hampstead pub and continue their drinking into the night at Hirst’s stately house nearby. As the pair become increasingly inebriated, and their stories increasingly unbelievable, the lively conversation soon turns into a revealing power game, further complicated by the return home of two sinister younger men. The broadcast will be followed by an exclusive Q&A with the cast and director Sean Mathias.

Celebrate Christmas early this year with a classic. Winner of three Oscars, it stars Maureen O’Hara and John Payne and with Edmund Gwenn as a kindly old man who claims to be Santa Claus. He is predictably institutionalised as insane until a young lawyer decides to defend him in court. The film also stars a young Natalie Wood. Not to be missed. (7pm start, doors 6.30.)
 
 Love & Friendship [U] 2016, 92 mins, Friday, January 6, 2017, at 7pm, doors 6:30pm
With a story from the pen of Jane Austen, this stylish period drama is based on the novella Lady Susan. It stars Kate Beckinsale as Lady Susan Vernon, a widow, who has come to stay at the estate of her in-laws to wait for rumours of her dalliances, circulating in polite society, to die down. While there she decides to secure husbands for herself and for her reluctant debutante daughter, Frederica.
