Reiki practitioner and psychic healer Jane Osborne has opened her Just Jane Angel consulting room in Rope Walk Arcade where she offers reiki energy healing as well as spiritual consultation in the form of psychic readings based on her passionate belief in energy from angels.
Reiki, which is the Japanese technique for stress reduction, is a healing process based on the body’s energy points or chakras and can be performed with or without bodily contact. Psychic readings may be based on the use of tarot cards or angel cards although some clients use neither. In each case Jane says angel energy is used to channel guidance and to “download” information. Jane herself feels she gets healing benefits from each session which is one reason she is so passionate about them. And some of her clients like to combine reiki with a reading.
Jane, who says she had her first psychic experience at the age of six, began focusing on practising psychic healing in the mid-2000s and attained Level 3 as a reiki practitioner in 2012. Jane has developed an independent method of reiki based on 12 hand positions and says the system of energy release provides mental, emotional and spiritual as well as physical comfort.
Jane says that among the ailments that reiki is said to help with are:
• headaches and migraines
• arthritic joint and muscle pain
• IBS
• PMT
• fibromyalgia
• emotional stress
• bereavement
• relationship issues
For the future there are plans for “working week well-being” mini sessions, which will cost £10 for 20 minutes – I had a short trial session and felt a sense of well-being and calm from the experience. There are also plans for a vlog and there are guided meditation and visualisation sessions in the pipeline, together with workshops on manifestations and angels.
Appointments can be booked through the website or Facebook or by emailing justjaneangel@gmail.com. And there is also a drop-in service available on Thursdays and Saturdays between 10:30am and 2:30pm. Fees are £25 for up to an hour, although there is a special offer in February when walk-ins are available for £15.
