Andy Thomas will be talking about “unexplained mysteries” when he kicks off Rye and District u3a’s (University of the Third Age) monthly meetings after their summer break. His talk will be on Monday September 15 at Rye Community Centre at 2pm.

u3a meets monthly on the third Monday of every month (except for July and August) at 2pm at the community centre. June Hyson writes that u3a “also has 25 different interest groups meeting at different times during the month, and is always open to new ideas and suggestions for more groups.”

New members are always welcome to come and join u3a to share a range of educational, creative and leisure activities. For more information visit their website on www.u3asites.org.uk/rye or telephone Sheila on 01797 224339 for membership and general enquiries.
