Work is about to start on the multi-million pound refurbishment and extension of Rye’s supermarket. In an Easter 2017 newsletter to customers, Jempson’s looks forward to completing the project in July this year, but keeping the store open throughout the construction period with the minimum disruption to customers. Internally, there will be brand new fridges, freezers and shelving throughout the store, an expansion of the existing bakery, an in-store Post Office and a complete re-orientation of the aisles for easier shopping.
