Local author Pamela Buxton’s book-launch at the Rye Bookshop last Saturday was like a gathering of old friends, writes Kenneth Bird. She was there, signing copies of her new book, entitled A different kind of life, previewed recently in Rye News.
“I’ve been writing for years,” she confided “but mostly children’s stories before, written out in longhand, but now I’m into books, with another one out next year. It’s never too late.”
Her book written under the pseudonym Pamela Holloway is on sale, price £6.99 at the Rye Bookshop
