Tatner's tempting summer menu

You know summer can’t be far off when the appetising aroma from Tatner’s Kitchen wafts across Broomhill Sands between Camber and Jury’s Gap, and this year’s menu at the beachside diner doesn’t disappoint.
Chef Kyle Tatner has kept his range of classic dishes – the American style pancake with smoky bacon and maple syrup; the Smoky Surfer burger, now with pulled pork; and the chilli dog of pork and herb sausage. And of course his famous ‘Dirty’ garlic and rosemary fries, served with a selection of toppings including ground beef chilli, are always popular. But for 2018 there is a new dish of halloumi fries which has already become a firm favourite. The fries are served with red sesame slaw, Alabama barbecue sauce and garlic flat bread.
Specials include a scampi sub of crispy scampi in a brioche bun with Alabama white sauce and a slaw. The range of drinks available includes Fentiman’s soft drinks, coffees, teas and hot chocolate. And there is always a freshly baked cake of the day.
Tatner’s Kitchen is open from 10am to 4pm from Wednesday to Sunday and from June 1 opening hours will be extended to seven days a week from 10am until 8pm. Tatner’s Kitchen is located in the free car park next to the Kitesurf Centre at Broomhill Sands, TN31 7SB. Further details can be found at the website www.tatners.com.
