Beach surveys and cleaning at Camber Sands and Fairlight are being organised by conservationist Andy Dinsdale in August and September and helpers will be welcome. Details are:
Camber Sands – microplastic nurdle and biobead discovery – Thursday August 30. Meet at 6:10pm on the beach by the central car park.
Winchelsea Beach – Friday September 14, meet end of Dog’s Hill Road at 5:30pm.
Pett Level – Monday September 17, meet up on sea wall next to the Smugglers pub at 10am.
