The Adventures of Andy Kershaw
This one-man show is a two-hour audio-visual presentation about Andy’s life, career, his adventures and experiences so far in radio and television, live music, travels to extreme countries and foreign correspondence.
Fascinating and often hilarious, the audience will enjoy recollections from a life spent on the front lines not only of rock & roll, but the world’s most extreme and dangerous countries.
As a BBC news correspondent, he was in Rwanda when the genocidal war started and happened to be in Monserrat in the Caribbean when the island’s volcano erupted. His on the ground TV reports were memorable.
He also visited North Korea three times and in 1998 tracked down the person who had shouted “Judas” at Bob Dylan in 1966!
“Sensational… wildly hilarious. An amazing man.” Stephen Fry
