Multiple murders took place last weekend (July 10-11), committed by Acting Up in Rye in their summer show, Wanted One Body. The two night only production played to packed houses and the audience relished every minute, writes Seana Lanigan. Secret passages, disappearing bodies and a lost will added up to a great evening’s entertainment. The actors did an excellent job. Andrew Mayor and Colin James were very believable as the solicitors who managed to unpick the incredibly complicated conspiracy and Bob Percival was terrifying as the funeral director. The Acting Up company is now gearing up for their Christmas pantomime which, if last year’s is anything to go by, will be a must-see. But why watch when you can participate? Acting Up will be holding auditions in November. Rye News will let you know where and when. Get ready!
