The excitement of the summer filming in the citadel is long gone, the special preview of the first episode has been seen and applauded and now the focus is on the television showing, writes Tony McLaughlin. The BBC has decided to make this a showcase production leading up to New Year’s Eve and the screening times are as follows:
- Monday December 29, BBC1, 9pm
- Tuesday December 30, BBC1, 9pm
- Wednesday December 31, BBC1, 9pm
What better way to welcome 2015 and bid “au reservoir 2014” (as Miss Mapp would surely say). I’m not sure if Mozart did a take on Auld Lang Syne, but in case he did: “Un po ‘di musica, Georgie!”
