The hidden walled garden at Little Orchard House at 3 West Street is hosting Rye Conservation Society’s annual garden party this Sunday June 14 writes Andy Stuart. Visitors will be able to look around one of the citadel’s  larger walled gardens, which is also home to a four-storey 18th century tower. A fabulous cream tea is being served the whole afternoon and, as well as scones with cream and jam, a superb array of home-made cakes will also be available. All are welcome to come along on Sunday 2-5pm and tickets can be bought at the door. Admission is £5 for Society’s members and £6 for non-members, with the superb tea included in the price of the ticket.
