Organising races across the UK
We are looking to recruit adhoc van drivers and a handyman/women to support with event logistics throughout the UK. This role will also include odd jobs in the local area.
This is an interesting opportunity for someone who is local to Rye and is happy to get out and about to travel around the UK (mainly the South East) and to be part of the broader race team. Most of our races take place on the weekends therefore, you’ll need to be happy to work Friday, Saturday and Sundays. We have a fleet of three vans and a wide race team across the whole country.
About us…
We are a specialist race management company, organising more than 200 races across the UK each year. We offer everything from small community events to larger participation races. We organise our own races and work in partnership with running clubs, charities, local authorities, and corporate clients. We are looking to continue our success by adding more events to our events calendar in 2021 and beyond.
Your Profile:
A minimum of 6 months commercial van driving experience is desirable but not essential.
Over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
Hold a UK driving licence without any endorsements.
Friendly with good communication skills.
Able to lift race equipment.
Flexibility to work – including at the weekend and early starts
CRB check (we’ll do this for you)
