Turkey time at food bank

We have been working hard to ensure that all our families receive their parcel of food this Wednesday along with a generous Christmas hamper and none of this would be possible without the kind generosity of our many supporters and benefactors.  We have received so many beautiful gestures of care and compassion for those who are struggling at this time of year, and thank you all so much for the wonderful gifts of food and the money you have donated.

We received a particularly stunning gesture of generosity from Appledore Turkeys who offered us a quantity of their beautiful free range turkeys! How fabulous is that! We are now able to give a whole fresh turkey to each of our families – literally giving them a Christmas dinner. Thank you so much Appledore Turkeys.

Big and heartfelt thanks

A big and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us during this difficult year, 2020, from Chris, Bob, Ellis, Ash, Mags, Janet, Kathy, Margo, Kitty, Joy, Penny, Tim, Debbie and all our volunteers.  We wish you all a happy joyful Christmas and health and happiness in the new year and beyond.

The numbers of those needing our help has recently grown and may increase even more but with your continued support we are confident we can continue to offer help to those in food poverty.  Supporting your local food bank is the best way you can help your local community in these difficult times.

We will be open as normal each Wednesday except for Wednesday, December 30.  If you need help on Wednesday December 30 please phone us between 1pm and 3pm on 07526 349847.  We will be open each Wednesday as normal from January 6.
