Rye Harbour is staging a Christmas Art and Crafts Fair this weekend November 28-29 between 10:30am and 4:30pm in the Avocet Gallery and the Village Hall and on Wednesday December 2, Rye Art Gallery is holding a Christmas evening with mulled wine, a buffet and raffle from 6:30pm. Entrance is from Ockham Lane and tickets are £6. On the same day from 10am to 5pm the NSPCC have a Christmas Fair at Lamb House.
Next Friday December 4, local charity ARRCC is holding a Quiz Night at New Road’s Rye Creative Centre from 6pm. The £7.50 ticket includes food and entertainment and there will be a bar and raffle. The same day from 2:30pm Rye Primary School is showing off what its pupils have been learning about World War One in “Rye remembers” with tea and cakes.
And that evening, December 4, at 7:30pm in Rye College the Wurlitzer organ is back in action with organist Michael Woolridge, harpist Julie George and the Brighton Welsh male voice choir. Tickets (£9, children £3) include refreshments.
