Ferry Road Nursery and Tilling Green Residents Association (TGRA) will join forces this Sunday (July 5) from 11am to 3pm in Tilling Green Field next to the community centre for a summer fete – and other organisations (such as the Scouts, shown above pictured at last year’s fete) will be joining them with stalls. Attractions include tombolas, a raffle, a barbecue, bowling and beer. There will be live music with the Rhythm Doctors, beat the goalie with Rye Bay FC, the Splitz Dance School and the Rye Dance Centre and Step Up and Dance line dancing. Also promised are pony or donkey rides, a bungee run, bouncy castle, soft play, an ice cream van, Nerf shooting and RepTylers,who will be bringing a host of their animals including a 10 foot python called Arnie.
