The popular craft supplies and children’s party provider Craft Magic, currently on Conduit Hill in Rye, is moving to a new home on the High Street, the old Martello Bookshop. Rye News bumped into Lisa and Richard Stacey who run the shop, in the process of painting furniture and packing up their belongings.  They plan to be open for business the weekend of June 13-14 and will be offering free make and take sessions, to try out the studio and crafts available there. The store will be open 10am-5pm on Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday.  Independently and locally owned Craft Magic, with its quirky blend of interesting craft supplies and activities, will be a worthy successor to the much missed Martello Bookshop, whose former premises have been vacant all year.
