Hundreds of scooters arrived in town to celebrate the wedding of Elaine Russell from Epping and Kev Taylor, at Rye Town Hall on Saturday (June 27), writes Seana Lanigan. The riders, most of whom were staying at Pontins in Camber Sands for their annual rally, staged a scoot past up East Street which lasted around 20 minutes and drew shopkeepers and residents out on to the street.
