After a tough and gruelling season, Iden FC – aka Iden’s barmy army – are looking to pick up rewards as they face the first of three possible finals. The first match will be against Hollington FC in the final of the Birchwood Group challenge cup at Eastbourne Borough FC ground on Monday April 13 at 7:30pm.

Iden have faced Hollington three times already this season, losing 5-2 away in October and 2-0 at home in December in the league. In March they beat Hollington 3-1 as they progressed through to the semi-final of the Hastings Intermediate Cup.

Iden goes into Monday’s game with the chance of achieving a treble in manager’s Chip Winton’s final season in charge. They are through to their second final – the Hastings Intermediate Cup – after beating Westfield 3-2 after extra time on Saturday April 4. The Cup Final is being played on Wednesday April 29, 7:15pm kick off, at Little Common against Ore Athletic.

And in their third cup challenge, Iden are  through to the semi-final of the Robertsbridge Intermediate Cup after beating JC Tackleway 5-2 on Easter Monday.
